February Snow showers. They closed all the businesses in New York but mines but Im not going in.

My Night Life

I started to do image work for Qualitynights.net a few weeks ago. Its mostly dance-hall parties. Last week was my first party so i was second shooter. Getting use to holding a flash and taking pictures at the same time isn't the easiest thing to. When you can't bounce hold the flash down so you don't get people in the background on portraits but still gota have the auto focus light hit em. When you can bounce turn the flash but keep it auto focus on them. YADA YADA. Makes some good work though. What I'm more into is getting that party feel. A few third of a second exposures and so fourth. Outrageous dancing to some and outfits at that. This was my first dance Hall party but not my last. Only way to describe is sex on the floor.

Welcome Back.

Im working on a layout for the site because all this blank space is starting to get on my nerves. Here are some recent photos to past the time. The first is at a skate park in Long Island called Oil City. Pretty down to earth people always good for a laugh. The Second was some cupcakes my mother made for xmas

Your Far to Kind

This is the first post on A Fatman Foto...Thoughts of a PhotoGenius. Photographer is to...old fashion and over rated to me. A photoGenius to me is someone who creates that image from scratch everytime over and over. Having to evolve everyday and adapted to whats around them. Setting up onlocation, gel'in that flash, digital/ film, you have to adapted.

Background on me...to who is jotting these thoughts down...I'm Fatman... Fine Arts Portrait( not that cheesy JCPenny Stuff), Landscapaes, Glam, Model Ports, Nudes, Food( when i dont wat them first), Nightlife, what comes around. Iv been shooting for about 3 years (photo and video) and I just wake up everyday with a mission on my mind. Today was to get this blog setup. This blog will be more photos then words. I like pictures what can i say. Blackberry camera, Canon Camera, Video...etc. What ever i have at the time
